Founded in 2016, Knowledge Enhancement Network Foundation (KEN-F) is a local non-governmental organization committed to addressing human rights, nutrition, health, income, and food security challenges among vulnerable groups. Over the past four years, we have implemented various programs focusing on human rights advocacy, nutritional support, health services, economic empowerment

Objectives

To advocate for the rights of underprivileged groups such as people with disability, widows and orphans for sustainable economic development
To equip the youths with Entrepreneurial skills through vocational training to enable them be self-reliant.
To facilitate links between groups and development partners, NGOs and Government for sharing of information, experience and resources
To enhance proper community management of natural resources.
To lobby and network with other humanitarian agencies that motivates rural sustainable development

Future intention

  • Establishing Early Children hood Development Centers in selected parts of the country to carter for the needs of children.
  • Establish a training center for book making in order for caretaker to get sufficient knowledge in commercialized book making.
  • Establishment of a learning center to carter for pre primary, primary secondary and vocational studies.
• Lobby for resources to construct public latrines to support households who cannot afford the service.
• Source out for partnerships to support in construction of boreholes and protected well springs within the community.
• Scale up the campaign to sensitize on hand washing with the involvement of VHTs and local leaders.
